Empathy and Empathic Shapeshifting Permissions
Empathy: Sherlock is an empath, and even though his ability is spotty and unrefined, he will be able to get a fix on a character who is experiencing very strong emotions or is in very close proximity. Please let me know if that's okay in the form below! If you would rather not have him be able to sense your character's emotions, his power is unrefined enough for it to happen (especially if your character is a telepath or can block it, is very calm and unemotional, etc.) He can also find characters by focusing on where the emotions are coming from, within a reasonable distance away (for example, within a 5 story building, or within a block or two radius. The closer they are, the clearer it is.)
Empathic Shapeshifting: Also! For fun, since Sherlock is an empathic shapeshifter and will react accordingly to his own emotions as well as those he picks up, if you would like to choose a form for him to take based on any emotion your character is giving off, please let me know below! If you don't want to choose one that's perfectly fine, and he'll shift according to the forms he usually takes (or unusually takes.)
Emotion Amplification: And lastly, Sherlock has emotion amplification via physical contact. Touching someone can amplify whatever emotions they are feeling at the moment. This can be used as a blunt force attack, grabbing someone's arm and overwhelming their mind with happiness or fear or what have you, rendering them useless temporarily. The effect will end as soon as the touch is broken, but clearly the overwhelming emotion could affect people even after the touch is broken if they're sensitive to that kind of thing. And of course, Sherlock will feel the blast as much as they do, and shapeshift in response, so as an attack he'd be reluctant to use it unless in a tight spot. This is an ability that has to be consciously activated so he can touch people without this happening, of course.

5. Notes: Chuck is generally a man of strong emotions. He is very empathetic on general basis but his emotions control his life. There's barely ever any anger or irritation and mostly he's positive and calm, but whenever he feels sad or affectionate etc, it's strong. Also, right now he only has a telepathic ability that is limited to thoughts alone. He doesn't sense feelings at all. (I have some aspirations to upgrade his powers to include empathy as it is a canonical thing to some lengths.) I don't think he would be able to really block Sherlock's reading ability but I wonder about the locating? I still think it'd be cool if Sherlock could! I'll fill this up again if I upgrade his powers. C: I hope this helps!
